Country music Singers. Moe Bandy

|

Born in Meridian, Mississippi February 12, 1944. His family moved to Texas when he was very young. His first exposure to country music probably was in Texas where his dad had a band called the Mission City Playboys.

About the age of twelve Moe began pickin' guitar around the house. You'll hear country singers point out that they never took a single lesson, and pickers will verify it."A bunch of singers will strum out three little chords and call themselves country pickers." Moe honest about that.

His first record was cut late in 1964 on the Satin label with his band "Bandy and the Mavericks". The music got airplay in South Texas, but failed to reach the national level. Nine years later he hits it big with 'I Just Started Hatin' Cheatin' Songs Today' on GRC Records.

And, of course there are Moe Bandy's Top Songs:

I Just Started Hatin' Cheatin' Songs Today
It Was So Easy to Find an Unhappy Woman

Hank Williams You Wrote My Life
Here I Am Drunk Again
